MANJISHTADI KASHAYAM; Manjishtadi Kashayam is An herbal (generic) decoction of various Ayurvedic herbs plants, such as Kalinga, Amla, Mulethi, Sunthi, and many more. This herbal decoction detoxifies the body and flushes out all toxic contaminants. It is a complete treatment for all your skin diseases like pimples, chronic ulcers, eczema, boils on the face, and psoriasis. This is also effective in treating various joint pain issues like rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis, joint swelling, numbness, gout, and others. The painful and difficult to treat Gout (vaat rakta) can be cured by a few doses of  Manjishtadi Kashayam. It is also known for its effective blood purifying properties and antioxidant effect. It holds the ability of detoxification and rejuvenation of the body too. This Kashayam cannot be consumed in an amount that is more than the prescribed. This medication has proved to be effective against various eye diseases, various ulcers, and a diabetic conditions also. It doesn't have any side effects, but an overdose may cause gastric irritation in some people. Hence, it should be taken under medical supervision only. ROLE OF INGREDIENTS; Rubia cordifolia -has been evaluated for its wound healing activity. The leaves of this plant were also studied for their antiviral and in-vitro free radical scavenging activity. Apart from its medicinal value, Manjistha has also been used as natural food colorants and natural dyes. Cyperus rotunda -  used to treat various clinical conditions at homes such as diarrhea, diabetes, pyresis, inflammation, malaria, and stomach and bowel disorders. Tinospora cordifolia - is used for diabetes, high cholesterol, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), upset stomach, gout, lymphoma, and other cancers, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), hepatitis, peptic ulcer disease (PUD), fever, gonorrhea, syphilis, and to boost the immune system. Saussurea lappa-  is used for treating worm (nematode) infections. Costus oil is used for asthma, cough, gas, and severe intestinal diseases such as dysentery and cholera. It is also used as a tonic and to stimulate digestion. Curcuma longa -  used to treat different conditions of inflammatory origin such as joint pain and skin inflammation, and is also used for diarrheal conditions and fever. Trichosanthes dioica-  is used as a tonic, febrifuge, and in subacute cases of enlargement of liver and spleen. Leaves are used in edema and alopecia. It is also used as an antipyretic, diuretic, cardiotonic, and laxative. Picrorrhiza kurroa - is a well-known herb in the Ayurvedic system of medicine and has traditionally been used to treat disorders of the liver and upper respiratory tract, reduce fevers, and to treat dyspepsia, chronic diarrhea, and scorpion sting. Plumbago zeylanica - used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases, and tumorous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. Gentiana kurro - used as a bitter tonic, and as an antiperiodic, expectorant, astringent, stomachic, anti-inflammatory, antipsychotic, sedative, anthelmintic and antibacterial. Adhatoda vasica- used for a multitude of disorders including; bronchitis, leprosy, blood disorders, heart troubles, thirst, asthma, fever, vomiting, loss of memory, leucoderma, jaundice, tumors, mouth troubles, sore-eye, fever, and gonorrhea. Melia azadirach -  is used as ayurvedic medicine in India and Unani medicine in Arab countries as an antioxidative, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, insecticidal, rodenticidal, antidiarrhoeal, deobstruent, diuretic, antidiabetic, cathartic, emetic, antirheumatic, and antihypertensive. Pavonia odorata -  is an indigenous medicinal plant of India that is frequently used in the Ayurvedic system of medicine as a cooling, diaphoretic, diuretic, and demulcent. Citrullus chocynthis - has been reported to possess a wide range of traditional medicinal uses including in diabetes, leprosy, common cold, cough, asthma, bronchitis, jaundice, joint pain, cancer, toothache, wound, mastitis, and gastrointestinal disorders such as indigestion, constipation, dysentery, gastroenteritis. Hemidesmus indicus - is demulcent, alterative, astringent, diaphoretic, diuretic, tonic, anti-pyretic, and blood purifier. It is used in leprosy, skin diseases, fever, asthma, bronchitis, syphilis, pruritus and other urinary diseases, chronic rheumatism, and leucorrhoea. Fumaria indica - is used in aches and pains, diarrhea, fever, influenza, liver complaints, vomiting, constipation, dyspepsia, blood purification, leucoderma, anthelmintic, diuretic, diaphoretic, and, in combination with black pepper, for jaundice. Cuminum cyminum - used as the spice for their distinctive aroma, they are also commonly used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of diseases, including chronic diarrhea and dyspepsia, acute gastritis, diabetes, and cancer. Holarrhena antiysenterica -  used to treat amoebic dysentery and chronic diarrhea. It is also a useful herb for treating various gut-related problems in small infants. It is used to kill harmful worms of the intestine. Carum carvi - herbal medicine for GI ailments including dyspepsia, and various spasmodic conditions, bloating, diarrhea, and flatulent colic. It is diuretic and expectorant and used for increasing maternal milk and dysmenorrhea Embelia Ribes - relieving headache, rhinitis, hemorrhage, epilepsy, and insomnia. The decoction of dried fruits is used for fever and for chest and skin disease. The paste is applied for skin infection. Acorus calamus -  is used to make medicine. Despite safety concerns, the calamus is used for gastrointestinal (GI) problems including ulcers, inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis), intestinal gas (flatulence), upset stomach, and loss of appetite (anorexia). Zingiber Officinale  - is used to treat nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis. Terminalia chebula  -  is used to protect the liver and to treat respiratory conditions, including respiratory tract infections, cough, and sore throat. Terminalia chebula is used for dysentery. Piper Chaba - used as an ingredient in Thai traditional preparation for arthritis. Its isolated compound is piperine which shows anti-inflammatory activity. Piperine produces a burning sensation because it activates the TRPV1 receptor. The TRPV1 activation involved the analgesic and adjuvant effects. Picrorrhiza kurroa - used to treat disorders of the liver and upper respiratory tract, reduce fevers, and treat dyspepsia, chronic diarrhea, and scorpion sting. Clerodendron serratum -  is useful in asthma, cough, and scrofulous affections. It is given in fever and is useful in sinusitis. Juice of leaves is used with ghee as an application to herpetic eruptions and pemphigus. Commiphora Mukul - is used for arthritis, lowering high cholesterol, “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis), acne and other skin diseases, and weight loss. Aconitum heterophyllum- helps in the treatment of bronchitis, persistent cough, upper respiratory tract infections, common cold, flu, and malaria. In ayurvedic pediatric medicine, it is used to treat fever, cough, vomiting, and diarrhea. Barleria prionitis - has been utilized for the treatment of toothache, catarrhal affections, whooping cough, inflammations, glandular swellings, urinary infection, jaundice, fever, gastrointestinal disorders, and as diuretic and tonic. BENEFITS; It is very useful in disorders of the nervous system and musculoskeletal system. It aids in the elimination of toxins developed in the body due to undigested food. It aids digestion and rectifies the digestion process and metabolic activities in the body. It is also used to treat eczema, Obesity, and Hypercholesterolemia, and eye diseases. DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS:  Take 12-24ml before food, at about 6-7 am and 6-7 pm or as directed by the physician. It is usually advised to an equal amount of water to the Kashayam. It is advised to, mix a pinch of long pepper powder and Guggulu to this Kashayam while drinking.
