MAHARASNADI KWATH CHURNA; Maharasnadi Kwath (also called Rasnadwigunabhagam Kashayam, Maharasnadi Kadha, Maharasnadi Kashayam and Maharasnadi Quath) is an ayurvedic medicine mainly used for diseases of the musculoskeletal system. It mainly acts on bones, joints, muscles and nerves. It is used in pain disorders and arthritis for pain relief. In arthritis, it provides relief from pain, swelling, inflammation and stiffness. It helps to treat rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, sciatica, backache, paralytic disorders, abdominal distension, bloating, gas, Kashayam is an Ayurvedic medicine in Kashayam form, it is also known as Rasnadi Kwath, kashaya, kwacha, etc. It has potent anti-inflammatory benefits. It is also used in the treatment of infertility of both males and females.   ROLE OF INGREDIENTS; Pluchea lanceolata - is used for inflammation and bronchitis, psoriasis, cough, and piles. It is also used as an antipyretic, analgesic, dyspepsia, rheumatoid arthritis, bitter, laxative and nerve tonic.  Alhagi pseudalhagi - acts as a purgative, diaphoretic, expectorant, and diuretic used to treat piles, migraine, warts, and rheumatism. Sida cordifolia - is applied directly to the skin for numbness, nerve pain, muscle cramps, skin disorders, tumors, joint pain (osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis), healing wounds, ulcers, scorpion sting, snakebite, and as a massage oil. Ricinus communis - used in traditional medicine such as abdominal disorders, arthritis, backache, muscle aches, bilharziasis, chronic backache and sciatica, chronic headache, constipation, the expulsion of the placenta, gallbladder pain, period pain, menstrual cramps, rheumatism, sleeplessness, and insomnia. Cedrus deodara - act as an expectorant and useful in curing piles, epilepsy, stones in the kidney and bladder, useful in fevers, and in many other disorders. The oil is antiseptic in nature and helpful in curing skin diseases, wounds, urogenital diseases, diaphoretic as well as insecticide. Hedychium spicatum -  used in medicines, food, cosmetics and perfumery industries. Traditionally, it is widely used in treating inflammation, pain, asthma, foul breath, vomiting, diarrhoea, bronchitis, hiccough, and blood diseases. Acorus calamus -  is used to make medicine. Despite safety concerns, the calamus is used for gastrointestinal (GI) problems including ulcers, inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis), intestinal gas (flatulence), upset stomach, and loss of appetite (anorexia). Adhatoda vasica  - used for a multitude of disorders including; bronchitis, leprosy, blood disorders, heart troubles, thirst, asthma, fever, vomiting, loss of memory, leucoderma, jaundice, tumors, mouth troubles, sore-eye, fever, and gonorrhea. Zingiber offcinale  - is used to treat nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis. Terminalia chebula  -  is used to protect the liver and to treat respiratory conditions, including respiratory tract infections, cough, and sore throat. Terminalia chebula is used for dysentery. Piper chaba - used as an ingredient in Thai traditional preparation for arthritis. Its isolated compound is piperine which shows anti-inflammatory activity. Piperine produces a burning sensation because it activates the TRPV1 receptor. The TRPV1 activation involved with the analgesic and adjuvant effect. ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Pluchea lanceolata - is used for inflammation and bronchitis, psoriasis, cough, and piles. It is also used as an antipyretic, analgesic, dyspepsia, rheumatoid arthritis, bitter, laxative and nerve tonic. 

Alhagi pseudalhagi - acts as a purgative, diaphoretic, expectorant, and diuretic used to treat piles, migraine, warts, and rheumatism.
