ROLE OF INGREDIENTS; Acalypha indica - is used across many communities to treat and manage a number of diseases including ganglions, diarrhoea, leprosy, laxative, diuretic gonorrhoea, rheumatism ulcers, ringworms, eczema, intestinal worms, boils and swellings, post-partum pains, scabies, and venereal diseases. Wedelia calendulacea - used in dyeing grey hair and in promoting the growth of hair. They are considered a tonic, alternative, and useful in coughs, cephalalgia, skin diseases, and alopecia. Sansevieria roxburghiana - is used as a cardiotonic, expectorant, febrifuge, purgative, tonic in glandular enlargement and rheumatism, etc. The plant is known to possess antitumor, antibacterial, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant, and analgesic activity. Azima tetracantha - the plant is applied directly to treat toothache and bleeding gums after tooth extraction and also as a disinfectant. The roots are used in the treatment of rheumatism, dropsy, and stomach disorders.
